Glimpix Pro ("the App") is a local-first screenshot organizer. We designed it from the ground up to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
The following data never leaves your device and is never sent to us:
All on-device AI processing (OCR, face detection, image labeling, semantic search) runs entirely on your device using local models. No image or analysis result is ever uploaded to our servers or any third party.
If you upgrade to Glimpix Pro, purchases are processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect:
RevenueCat does not receive your photos, name, email, or any personal identification. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The AI Assistant feature sends your text queries to a backend Edge Function hosted on Supabase, which forwards them to a language model (DeepSeek) to generate answers. Queries are not stored after the response is returned. No photos or personal data are included in these requests.
If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications entirely on-device. No notification content is transmitted to our servers.
The App requests access to your photo library to read and organize your screenshots. Photos are processed locally on your device. We never upload, copy, or transmit your photos to any server.
All data created by the App (OCR text, tags, notes, face data, embeddings) is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. This data is included in your device's standard iCloud or Google backup if you have backups enabled — this is controlled entirely by your device settings, not by us.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete or export on your behalf. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.
We may update this policy. We will notify you by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
